Pinocchio

First shown in Buenos Aires during the G20 summit, across from where world leaders were meeting, and selected by the European Cultural Centre for the 2019 Venice Biennale. It uses the figure of Pinocchio to reflect on global corruption, fake news and lies. The project followed the Best Global Emerging Artist award in Dubai (2016) and the artist’s subsequent connection with Jeff Koons, whose polished-steel technique he went on to adopt. Fabricated in Germany.
