Description
Inspired by the Andean prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor, which sets science and reason (the Eagle) against intuition and nature (the Condor) and foretells a Pachakuti: a future reunion and harmony between the two. The polished surface of the sculpture merges technology and the human form, alluding to that reconciliation.
Great Chief — Pachakuti Condor Pasa, 2023, is a sculpture from the series Steel by Alberto Echegaray Guevara. It is made of steel. Edition of 9.
